We have been servicing the South Bay and Peninsula since 1968. We are a licensed and bonded contractor. We have a full office staff to take your calls, answer your questions, and schedule services. We take pride in having long-term relationships with our customers. Our employees are mostly full-time and year-round. We provide medical coverage, vacations and paid holidays. Consequently, we are able to keep employees for many years, which builds relationships with our customers,the foundation of a successful service company.

    Can anyone recommend a great pool service near Portola Valley, CA?

    Excel Pool has taken care of our pool for the last 6 months and came recommended by the previous home owner. They have a couple service tiers depending on what you need. I've been happy with the weekly service. Good luck!

    We have been with Excel Pool and Spa since 2004 when we first moved to Atherton. We have had excellent service and cooperation with this company. Anna at the office and the servicemen who come every week to tend to our pool have been great. Will not hesitate to recommend them .

    We have had Mario come by the service our pool for years.
    It makes having a pool real easy. The chemicals are always in balance and everybody remarks that it doesn't smell like chlorine.
    If extra service is needed they will let you know, you can either do it yourself or they can do it for some extra payment

    I have used Excel Pool for supplies and advice for over 25 years. Excel Pool & Spa is excellent. They are knowledgeable and responsive to your needs. I recommend them highly. I use a pool sweep which they service and I have never had a problem. I am extremely happy with a new filter/pump system they recommended and installed. When I had difficulties learning how to program the system, the tech was patient, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend Excel, even for those who maintain their own swimming pools.

    I have been using Excel Pool for a few years. The crew and the owner are very trustworthy and accommodating. They work with you and have a high standard of work. I have purchased a new pump & filter system and they installed them for me. I have also used them many times for regular maintenance work. Highly recommended. They get the job done with a great quality.
