I've known the owners for 20 years. They have the highest integrity, are very knowledgeable, and provide excellent mechanical and fitting services. The shop is meticulously maintained, well laid out, and is everything a professional bike shop should look like. I refer as many people as possible to see the owners for sales, as well as mechanical and fitting services.

Chris is SO MUCH more than just a good bike shop owner. He runs amazing training classes out of his shop, even though it requires him to get up at the crack of drawn and work seven days a week. He also is willing to go far above and beyond for clients, once even closing up his shop and driving out to assist us when we were on a training ride not far from him and got a flat without a tube to fix it. (Yeah, not smart). He is knowledgeable, patient, and easy to do business with. And, oh yeah, he's a kick-ass rider, to boot!

I have been doing triathlon for many years and purchased my first bike at a different location. While still using my original bike, I met Chris and began going to his shop for power training, a great service his shop offers in the freezing cold offseason here in NY. I have always been impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and eagerness to help people learn and make cycling a safe and fun part of their lives. Never met a bike guy who is so humble. On a ride one day, I flatted, He locked the bike shop door and drove out 15 miles to me to fix my flat. After he fixed my flat, he provided me with an extra tube and supplies in the event it happened again. (Stuff I acknowledged I should have had before embarking on the ride.) This is just one example of his dedication to his customers at Elevate Cycles. This past summer I bought my first triathlon bike from Chris. He ensured it was the perfect fit and even called me off hours to ensure everything was going well with it. I continue to train with Elevate Cycles and have become part of the community he has started at his shop. He is one of a kind and while there are a lot of bike shops out there but can guarantee Elevate Cycles is the best.

Chris and his staff are always going above and beyond to help bikers. Chris voluntarily opened up on a Sunday for me so that I could get my bike back after a service I have also heard stories where after hours he met someone to bring them a new tube and help them change a flat. It is rare to find a bike shop that cares this much about their clients!

Great shop that offers more than just bike services. They also have opportunities to train and race in a simulated environment. Great staff.

One day, 3 years ago I began searching for a new triathlon bike as I wanted to rekindle my love for cycling I cultivated riding my mountain bike with my father as a child. I visited several shops and to say the least I was underwhelmed. Chris at Elevate Cycles was not only extremely helpful, he even asked to hear some of the stories I had from riding with my father. He shared some of his stories of riding over the years. He never pressured me to buy anything and even commented that if I knew how to maintain a mountain bike he could teach me the differences for a road bike no problem.
Since these 3 years have passed, Chris has gone out of his way to invite me to group rides, training sessions and get togethers. His shop may be small, but the impact he has on his customers is quite large. He even runs power training classes over the winter and offers free classes to make sure it is the right program for each customer before they commit. He even let me borrow his personal bike for a charity ride that did not allow the aero bars from my triathlon bike.
I can confidently say my passion for the sport has grown exponentially over the last three years. Elevate cycles and Chris have been the major catalyst to this rediscovered love. -

Brought my bike in for a simple tune-up and bar-wrap. I've been to many local bike shops in the area and while they're all fine, there seems to be something special about elevate. The gentleman who helped me was friendly, personable, and more than willing to help in anyway possible. He was willing to offer advice for the best ride possible (e.g. I could use new brakes next year) but was not pushing a hard-sell. Not to mention, I took my bike out for 100km + few days after picking it up and it rode better than it ever has ! (perhaps better than brand-new)

This shop is great. I came in with a buddy of mine for some new pedals. They gave me a very good price on them and even tightened up my back hub free of charge. Overall this is a very nice bike shop with very polite employees I definitely would go back again.
