Dr. Jim Kelly was the first in his family to attend college. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 1979 with BA degrees in biology and psychology. Jim became interested in dentistry while observing his college roommate’s father at work in his Delaware dental practice. Dr. Ignacio Gispert had been a dentist in Cuba until he fled to America with his family following Castro’s rise to power. His story impacted Jim greatly and inspired him to become a dentist. I am impressed with the kindness of the staff and the personal attention from Dr. Kelly! Dr. Kelly thoroughly explained my dental issues, takes the time to listen, and answered all of my questions. The office environment is amazingly pleasant, with comfortable furnishings and amazing views of the city, which helps to relax me and makes me feel at ease. The care I have received is top notch, and I highly recommend Dr. Kelly and his awesome staff!

Dr Kelly is pretty fantastic; not only does he have a great personality, he is quite knowledgeable and careful with his patients. He's concerned not only with doing the work at hand, but explaining every detail before and during the procedure. He saw to my anxiety about pain but assuring me of his resources and I completely trust him. He's sensitive to his patients after the procedure and is happy to make sure all is going as it should as far as recovery, and happy to follow up with a look or to identify any additional issues he sees. …
I'm very impressed with them as well.
I can't say enough good things about this team. I think I've found my forever dentist and am less likely to put off care I was previously scared about. I highly recommend this team! -

… Dr Jim opened his office early just to treat me, something I feel most dentist wouldn't do. As soon as I was in the chair the fear that generally comes started to dissipate. Dr Jim explained that I wouldn't feel any pain and to take comfort in the fact that I was in good hands. He couldn't have been more right. Not only was my problem solved, I didn't feel a thing. Even my recovery time was painless. I just want to say thank you to Dr Jim and Sherrie, and the rest of the staff for making my experience pain free. ... I found Dr. Kelly on a holistic dentistry website and I couldn't be happier with him, his wife, Sherrie and the people they have chosen to help them in their office... I feel like I'm going to visit family. I was going to reschedule an appointment because I had my granddog... they told me they love dogs and to bring him with me and they'd watch him while I was in the chair! So I did! Now, not only are my amalgams replaced, but Dr. Kelly noticed how "off" my bite is from previous dentistry, and is correcting that so I no longer have TMJ. He is a perfectionist and I am so grateful for that. They really do make you smile here and I actually look forward to my dentist appointments!

He has quite a California, rock-and-roll kind of feel to his dress style and demeanor. The staff was very professional, attentive to my comfort, and knowledgeable about dealing with people with anxiety. Dr. Kelly was on site and I wish I had a practice like this close to home. I would definitely recommend this location.
