  Don't waste your time calling other dog walking companies - CALL DOWNTOWN PITTSBURGH DOGS! You will not be disappointed. Kevin is fantastic! He's incredibly easy to work with, very professional, and above all, is great with animals! He takes the time to get to know his clients (humans and dogs), and eased any concern we had with leaving our pets with his staff.

  Downtown Pittsburgh Dogs offers dog walking, boarding, overnight sitting and training. My dog, fiancé and I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin recently. I contacted downtown Pittsburgh dogs on their website because we recently adopted a dog. Our dog is great, but she lunges towards other dogs and we aren't sure if its out of fear, anger or she wants to play. I contacted Kevin to get some help with that behavior and also inquired about boarding options since are getting married soon. ...

  We have been so pleased with Kevin, Casey and the team. Kevin met our goldendoodle Reese when she was 3 months old and helped us establish a routine for her. The team is caring, responsive, professional and flexible when needed (sick or after spay). It is a great feeling to know we leave for work and our pup is in great hands. We love getting the notes from the team to hear about the day's walk. DPD's services are fairly priced and competitive with market rates in our area. The online schedule service is easy and works well. We are so glad we found DPD and would highly recommend them!

  I worked for Downtown Pittsburgh Dogs in the summer and up until I graduated from college. I absolutely LOVED this job, I wish if I hadn't relocated back home that I'd still be working here! Kevin is an excellent teacher, experienced dog walker, and truly cares about the business he runs in Downtown Pittsburgh. He is very adamant about making sure all clients are satisfied with how we manage their pets, and the people who work for him also truly care about the pets we get to take care of. I was able to work around my strenuous college schedule to be able to walk several dogs for a half hour, or I would be able to pet-sit at client's homes while studying and monitoring a cute puppy at the same time. I, on one or more occasions, had to take a Port Authority bus to travel out of Downtown to pet sit a dog, and then come back early the next morning for college. I remember Kevin made sure I knew how to get there, made sure I was there, and made sure I returned back okay. If someone from Downtown Pittsburgh asked me who should monitor their pets or where to work being a dog walker or pet sitter, I would without a doubt recommend DPD. Thank you DPD for everything, I miss you all and hope you are doing well!

  We had our first experience with Kevin and his team this weekend. My wife and I traveled to Pittsburgh from Cleveland to run the Pittsburgh half marathon. We wanted to bring along our 4 month old collie, Finn, for the weekend but didn't want to leave him alone at our hotel during the race. I called Kevin from Downtown Pittsburgh Dogs a week before the race! He was able to reach out and find a sitter who could accommodate us. He was very friendly and helpful. The sitter's name was Michelle. She was able to pick up our pup at 530am(!!!) so we could make it to the race. I ended up being late picking Finn up and Michelle was very kind and flexible. The whole experience was awesome and if we go back to Pittsburgh, we'll make sure to give them a call.
