  Today was just my first visit to District Vet, but I am already really thrilled with the decision to change from another local vet. ... While other vets have made me feel ashamed to ask questions, Dr. Walker was very kind and thorough and made me feel a lot more comforted about the health of my dog and my decisions regarding his care. She laid out all the options and we came to a good plan together. She even gave me a card with her email address if I had any more questions! The prices are comparable, but the "bedside manner" is lightyears beyond what you get elsewhere.

  I followed my vet here from another clinic because I love them so much! My dog had been muzzled at other places which only heightened her anxiety of vets in general. But both doctors I've encountered here have been incredibly patient and kind with my girl and do everything they can to make her comfortable. I won't take my dog anywhere else.

  My 15-year-old husky has been to numerous vets in DC and District Vet, especially Dr. Dan Teich, is as good as it gets. You never get the feeling they put business before their clientele -both furry and not. Highly recommend!!!

  What can I say about the AMAZING place. Friendly...Check, Clean...Check, Know what your Furr Baby needs to feel calm and Happy......Check. Seriously if you need a vet in the NE Brookland Area in DC give this place a Try.

  District Vet's staff have been incredibly supportive in addressing the health needs of my very elderly cat. I can't say enough nice things about both the medical abilities, and also the focus on the animal's quality of life.
