  Took the intermediate class. I was twenty minutes late so I imagine I missed the warm-up. Learned a lot of choreography with female styling built in. Some classes don't give you a lot of time to practice (especially with music) but this class had the perfect balance. The students were also laid back and friendly which is nice when you're new to a class

  I've had the pleasure of attending dance classes, dancing on their performing team, and being a part of this community for many years. Mike and Gina are consummate professionals who are very dedicated their art. They take a personal interest in making sure their students are improving as dancers and having a great time while they do it. There are many places to learn the basic counts and movements of salsa, bachata, kizomba and more, but none that provide the great energy and wonderful people that you will find at Del Campo dance studio. Mike Del Campo is called "The Godfather" of Sacramento salsa for a reason, he's spent decades perfecting his teaching and directing talents! I highly recommend Del Campo dance studio for dancers of beginning through advanced levels who want to improve their skills.

  I started dancing in 6 months ago. When I began I was debating between Del Campo and another studio. One of my friend was already taking classes at Del Campo so I figured I'll go there, if I don't like it, I would try out other dance studios. My experience so far has been nothing short of exceptional. They do all they can to help you. He's very clear in his teaching and invites questions. Mike is hilarious, you'll have a great time in his class. You won't be bored for sure. His wife Gina is there as well and they both go around helping their students. And you meet new people along the way. I've met plenty of people from our classes and we go out to salsa clubs and have fun. I can't make comparisons with other studios because I've only taken classes at Del Campo, but i do plan on giving other studios a try and will probably update this review in the future. If you want to learn salsa or other Latin dances, Del Campo is the place to be!

  My boyfriend and I have taken 8 classes here and are having a blast! The instructor is very knowledgeable and makes the classes fun with variety, humor, and style. We both feel like we are learning a lot and are excited to get out to the clubs to practice our new moves!
  The classes are a good size so there's lots of partners to learn with, we learn different combinations every week, and I always leave there in a better mood than I went in :)
