  My boyfriend and I have gone to Liza for 3 country swing lessons and she is great! She creates a safe and welcoming space for us to learn. She is very nice and helpful and she really broke it down for us and made it easy for us to learn. I would highly recommend taking lessons from her!

  My husband and I had Caree (Liza's partner) as our dance instructor for our first dance at our wedding and she was great! She understood that we didn't want a traditional first dance and we wanted something to match out EDM taste, so she created this unique dance and our guests loved it! They raved on how amazing our dance was and how they've never seen anything like it before. We had a blast learning the routine and this was probably one of the highlights of our wedding. We can't wait until our videographer gets back to us so we can watch it! Thank you Caree!

  My husband and I took about 5 classes from Liza to prepare for our wedding first dance. We picked our song ahead of time and she quickly found an easy two-step dance for us to do. I have prior dance experience and my husband does not, but Liza was able to bridge this gap so we both felt confident. We had to make sure to practice a couple times a week at home on our own but Liza would give us small corrections and things to work on. Liza helped to minimize our stress in the process and even worked with our particular budget. Liza has a lot of experience teaching dance and it shows. She was always calm throughout the lessons which put us at ease. We highly recommend Liza!

  I am so glad we found dance with Liza. My fiancé was nervous about learning a first dance, but Liza is so good at listening to what you want out of the experience, and tailoring both the dance and her teaching to you, that he was totally comfortable and even had fun. I really appreciated that while she super nice and funny, she was efficient and didn't waste your time. She helped us create a first dance that didn't feel over the top choreographed, but was still interesting both to dance and to watch. I never write reviews but I had to write one for her because she is just so good! I am SO HAPPY we found her, and I would recommend her to anyone without reservations.

  I highly recommend Dance with Liza for anyone wanting to prepare a special first dance for their wedding. We worked on our dance for six months and also had time to learn a few other types of dances such as four count swing and six count swing. The song we chose for our wedding is February Seven by the Avett Brothers (it is a pretty folky indie type of song). Liza had us learn country two step to go along with the song and it was perfect! We also had so much fun utilizing the two count swing on our honeymoon! Liza is such a patient, kind and understanding teacher who helped with us both feel very comfortable learning a new dance. She would also listen to our input and make changes when necessary. For anyone contemplating whether or not to take dance lessons before their big day, I will say this…In all of the stress that comes with planning a wedding, Dance was the one hour every week where my husband and I got to forget about everything else and get lost in each other. We had so much fun dancing and laughing with Liza - It truly was the best experience. Thank you Liza! Every time we hear the new Justin Timberlake song we will think of you : ).
