How to Add the Recommendations Widget to Your WordPress Site Using SiteOrigin’s Page Builder Plugin

Recently, we shared how to embed your recommendations on your website. Our beautiful, cleanly designed widget automatically adjusts to the width of your website, so it looks great on mobile, tablet, and desktop web browsers.

However, for the businesses and professionals running their website on WordPress, we wanted to share specific directions, since there are so many of you! We’ll use chiropractor Marvin C. Lee‘s website, SoCal Back Doctor, as our example case.

Here’s how to add your recommendations to your WordPress site. It’s very simple and can be completed in just three steps:

1. Log in to your WordPress site and find the page where you want to embed the widget. Click on “Add Content.”

2. In the drop-down menu, drag and drop the Text Editor to the place on the page where you want to embed the widget. In this case, it’s at the top of the Reviews page.

3. Copy the code for the Responsive Widget from the Recommendations tab of your Edit Profile page. Back on your site, click on the Text tab of the Text Editor you added and paste in the code. Click “Save.”

Note: When embedding the Responsive Widget, make sure the Width and Content Width are set to “Full Width” under Row Settings.

That’s it! Now, you have a Recommendations widget on your site that gets updated in real time without needing a web developer to do any coding or updates. All you need to do now is share your Recommended profile with your clients and get more recommendations!
