We teach our patients new skills or reinforce current skills so that they can get to know and trust their own body cues, move away from diet rules (and rule-breaking), learn better and more insight-oriented coping strategies.     So I just went yesterday to my appointment with Dr. Melissa Sirolli and had a very insightful session about sports nutrition with her. … She took her time to evaluate my weight and body fat percentage, and carefully created food suggestion and meal plans for me to abide by - and she did all this ONE HOUR after our appointment (most doctors take days to get back to you). Even when I had some questions and emailed them to her, she was very prompt in responding and was very formal! I truly recommend Dr. Sirolli to anyone who is serious about losing weight, or overall seeking a healthier lifestyle. When they say, "Lets Get There Together", it is not a joke, she really wants to get to your goals with you and guide you every step of the way!

    Working with the nutritionist Adiana Castro is always a pleasure. She is very thorough in her approach and I feel good that I continue to achieve my nutrition goals with her coaching. I would highly recommend her.

    I've been struggling with my blood pressure for the past 3 years, all my doctors were doing was prescribing medications, but never took the time to really council me on diet and exercise. I found compass nutrition on line and decided to give them a try. I've met with Alyssa Tucci twice. During the first visit, she told me some things that I didn't know, and helped me create a plan that was pretty easy for me to follow and I lost about 6 ponds in water weight. My blood pressure went down a few points as well. I'm definitely on the road to accomplishing what I set out to do. I think Alyssa is great! She's very easy to talk to, and even though some of the stuff I didn't know I probably should have, she never made me feel stupid as some doctors and nurses have in the past.

    I have seen dietitians in the past, but I find the team at Compass Nutrition to be the kindest and most knowledgeable! Ever since I moved to NYC I have had to adjust and figure out how to live a healthy lifestyle. After one visit, I had a game plan that would set me up for success. They are non-judgemental and don't believe in restricting or fad diets. I recommend Compass Nutrition to anyone and everyone seeking a dietitian or nutritionist!
