How long does speech therapy last? It depends. For speech sound correction, therapy can last a few months with the use of a new technology called the palatometer. This is a retainer that is worn by the child during a therapy session. The retainer is embedded with sensors that feed input into a computer. While watching a computer screen the child is able to see how their tongue is moving in real time and how that movement compares with correct pronunciation. With the use of the parameter, speech sound errors that used to take years to correct now takes months. Read more

We have been with clear speech for 2 years now. I highly recommend them. My son showed so much improvement in his first year. I really wish we knew about them in the beginning. On top of the great work they do all the staff members are super nice!

My son has been going here for almost 2 years and has really grown to be a more confident speaker and writer. Thank you to his speech instructors Pam and Lorioux who make coming here a real enjoyment for both child and parent.

My daughter Toni started at Clear Speech with nearly unintelligible speech. Despite being 3 her speech was at a level closer to a 1 year old. After months of therapy Toni is now saying hundreds of words that we can understand. I can't thank Michelle enough for her work with my little girl.
