  Charles did a fantastic job inspecting a house that I'm buying in Bellevue. I followed him around for 7 hours while learning all about the house and its flaws. He's older than many inspectors, and that gives him much more experience to draw upon. But don't assume age will keep him from inspecting harder to reach areas! In my inspection, he was all over the roof, crawling through small crawl spaces, up into the attic, and constantly up and down stairs and ladders. ...

  I've recommended Charlie Buell now to clients for several years. Despite the fact that I've been on hundreds of home inspections I always learn something when Charlie is doing the home inspection. He's very thorough in both the home inspection process and in communicating, whether it be written or verbal communication.
  
  I encourage all of my clients to subscribe to Charlie's blog long before they need a home inspector so that they can really get to know more about him and his level of knowledge. His transparency in the his work and home inspection business as a whole is incredibly helpful when I need to recommend home inspectors.

  We were buying a unique home and needed an inspector who was experienced with passive solar. Charlie was thorough, thoughtful and had excellent ideas about how to approach the remodeling of the house. He spent a long time making sure he had covered every detail for us. We can't speak highly enough about his credentials and the quality of the inspection report. He was exactly what any buyer would hope for.

  This inspector is a nice change to deal with. He is friendly and down to earth. It is a pleasure to have met him and his sense of humor was very nice.
