I have known the Gunnells for many years now and know they are excellent at what they do. Jon is a first class professional musician, and I have met several of his instructors and found them to be equally professional and talented. Additionally, I have seen some of the academy's students perform and all I can say is WOW! Young, old, or in between... It's not too early or too late to learn to play. I highly recommend these folks.

I love the guitar. But, I couldn't play it. Still, I learned a couple cords, strummed it. Faked it. And, still, I loved hearing it. Well, after 6 months and our move to Indiana, she followed up with the perfect father's day present - lessons! ...
The music room is clean, has good acoustics, and my instructor is excellent!
The approach at this school was perfect for me. Each week, I would learn a little more and build on what was taught the previous week. I would play what I knew for the instructor and then play with the instructor. We build our lessons around music I liked so I could take it home and enjoy what I was listening to. Two perfect gifts from my wife.
