They were having a catering event outside my work one days so I stopped by. Wasn't sure what to get so the burninator was suggested. Man did it hit the spot, cooked just right not too crispy not burnt at all. Service was fast and friendly. I would definitely eat here again

Get the coconut curry tomato soup (free with Yelp check in)! This soup is a take on a traditional comfort food with a curry kick to it.
I ended up getting the burn-Anator grilled cheese which also had a nice but not overwhelming spicy kick to it.
The soup was the perfect compliment to the sandwich. They have a variety of other grilled cheese sandwiches and the food came out quickly despite the line.
Glad I got to try them at a Yelp event and wouldn't hesitate to consider them for a future catering event!
    Cute logo and tent too!

Hands down, the BEST grilled cheese in San Diego!

Bread and Cheese is a grilled cheese pop up bringing gourmet grilled cheese to breweries and festivals. The secret is that the sauce that accompanies the Bread & Cie bread and high-end cheeses. Bread and Cheese puts their sauce on the OUTSIDE of the bread, used as a flavorful replacement for butter while grilling the sandwiches. You can also get cheese (or even cheese AND meat) grilled onto the outside of the sandwich in addition to the gooey inside.

I love all of the flavors, but one stand out is the Cali Gold with pesto aioli, swiss, pepper jack, arugula and roasted red peppers on sourdough bread. My favorite is the spicy burn-a-nator with enchilada aioli, pepper jack, and spicy salami and jalapeno cheddar bread. DO NOT MISS the coconut curry tomato soup to dip your sandwich in.
