Just took my first fundamentals class here. Been sore for days but already feel so much stronger. Very simple movements that teach core concepts for strength and stabilization. Looking forward to getting deeper into this method.

I moved to Boulder from the East Coast to train here. That's how good it is. If you want to be a better mover/human, the methods used here work. And it's not about walking in with a ton of prowess or strength. It's about attitude, and being ready to do some work. I especially love the community - I think that's the main thing I was looking for. People to challenge me and push me, but also to celebrate my progress and laugh with me!

There is a super exciting thing happening in the world of Movement right now and that is Ido Portal's closest students opening up their own facilities and offering daily Movement classes. Whether you are brand new to Movement or have been a student of Ido's online coaching for years, these facilities should be on your list of places to go to. I am super excited to have gotten the opportunity to check out what Matt and Zack are doing at their facility, the Boulder Movement Collective. Spending 7 days in this gorgeous mountain town taking classes twice a day and using the open gym time between sessions felt like my own mini Movement camp. (Speaking of, keep your eyes open for the announcement of the 2018 location!) I immersed myself in their community, in their teachings and in my own personal practice. Getting to spend multiple hours a day with Zack and Matt and their community was not only educational and inspiring but a ton of fun. I cannot recommend it enough. If you are interested in Ido Portal and Movement, you are interested in Boulder Movement Collective. Thank you for an amazing week Zack and Matt. Looking forward to catching you on the other side of the pond again at the Monkey!

Before finding BMC, I had a vision of a place like this but didn't know a place this like this existed. Then a friend told me about this place. I took my first class and immediately signed up for a membership because it was exactly what I was needing. It pushes me to learn how to really be in my body and discover new ways of moving that has healed imbalances that were causing me pain. I experienced more improvements in my handstands in one month than I have in years. I got multiple pull ups and chin ups through the intelligent and creative movements we go through. Overall, I gained strength and coordination that has been super enjoyable. And then to top it off, everyone is extremely welcoming, supportive and fun. I love you BMC! xoxo
