As an RN, I have witnessed hundreds of births and have the perspective to encourage any couple in the normalcy of birth, as well as make it a relaxed and fun event. As an educator, I have honed the way I can communicate to couples and keep them informed. As a photographer, I have found my "zone" in the birthing room with my camera and enjoy capturing tasteful memories. And as a mother, I'm an empathetic soul to have on your side. My husband and I loved Jennifer's birthing class. It's a fun and extremely informative experience. Learning in the classroom was so much easier than reading the 10 books sitting on our nightstand. We took these instead of our Kaiser classes because they are way more in-depth. We attended one kaiser class and the information was only a quick basic overview. ...

My husband and I loved Jennifer's birth class. It is a significant investment of time, but I think it was completely worth it. I am the "researcher" type and even though I had done a ton of independent reading, I learned so much at the class. Jennifer brings a unique perspective to birth because of her experience as a labor and delivery nurse coupled with her experience as a doula. She is very knowledgeable about both the medical and emotional aspects of birth. ...
