  The shop is full of super personable people who are always willing to help. They're great at getting you fixed and back on the road, or helping to choose the right bike. You never feel like they're there to sell you something - they're there to share the biking experience.

  Stopped in today due to a mechanical issue part way through the ride. They worked with me to get my bike workable again and I salvaged a great day of riding instead of having to Uber home. I'll be going back to this shop again. Very impressed.

  Bought my first bike in a veryong time. These guys are fantastic. Didn't bully me into buying something I didn't like. Took their time to get to know my needs and find the right bike for me. They truly know their stuff and I love my purchase. Will be going back for my biking needs.

  We aren't big bike people. By that I mean, we don't know much about bike brands and all the latest bike technology. But we bike a fair amount and were shopping for a new bike for my wife. All of the employees were great. They were very patient with us and really tried to understand her needs and recommend bikes they thought would suit her. Max from the shop was particularly great and spent a lot of time with us.
  
  We looked at around 5 bike shops, she rode a ton of bikes, and ultimately picked one from behind bars. They were very friendly when we came back for a second ride and let her take the bike out for almost 40 minutes, so she could be sure it was the right one.
  
  After buying her bike, and seeing their service quality, i bright my vintage bike in for a tune up. I was planning on getting one of the more expensive packages, but their mechanic took a look while i was standing there and said it only needed a small amount of work, which was much less expensive than the package. I really appreciate that kind of honesty. Especially when dealing with a non expert like me.
  
  I would highly recommend this shop for bike purchases or repairs.

  I've literally been going to this shop since the week they opened. Behind Bars is far and away my favorite shop in the Cities. Excellent work, good selection, reasonable rates, and they're usually playing pretty decent music. What more do you want?
