Gonzalez began her career after taking classes at the Makeup Institute in San Francisco to become a cosmetologist. After working with a renowned makeup and hair artist in the Bay Area, she decided to pursue the more artistic side of cosmetology rather than working in a hair salon doing the basic cut-and-color. I was married in April 2017 and had the pleasure of working with Liz (and her staff) for several events leading up to our wedding and the wedding itself. I used Beauty on Location's sister studio, L Style Bar, for hair and makeup for our engagement photos (Liz fit me in last minute and early on a Sunday morning due to a rain-induced schedule change for our photos!), as well as hair and makeup for my mom and I the morning of my bridal shower. I had several hair and makeup trials with Liz due to my hair not behaving, her work at the trials was flawless! Liz was always very attentive to my calls, emails, and texts and was generous with her time during my trials. ...

I have to rave about Maria Mcgregor with Beauty on Location by Liz! She did a wonderful job on my makeup for our wedding. She also did my two sisters, my mom, & my husbands's mom. I'm from Chicago so we were unable to do a makeup trial before the wedding. I showed Maria one image & she understood exactly the look I was after. She executed it perfectly & the makeup stayed all night! Would highly recommend working with her!

I was more than pleased with my hair and makeup for my wedding! Beauty on Location did the hair/makeup for me, my 4 bridesmaids, and both the MOB and MOG. The stylists showed up at our hotel on time and finished on time, even with all 7 hair and makeups to do. We all looked our very best, and the stylists did an amazing job!

I don't even know where to start. If I could rate Liz and her company a 10 I would but 5 is as high as I can go. Liz is AMAZING! She is one of the nicest most genuine people I have ever met and has a true passion for her job. When all others told me a morning wedding could not be done she said no problem and it was happily after ever since. I worked with Liz for a year and a half and she always treated me as if my wedding was right around the corner. ... Liz is FANTASTIC and I would work with her again in a second. ABSOLUTELY recommend!!
