  ... Compared to my old eye doctor (Berggren) who I always found myself waiting for and listening to odd stories making it an awkward visit, I truly enjoyed this visit with Dr Borden. He explained everything he did in detail. I don't currently have insurance, so costs will depend if I go again, but I know I will be looking into it and possibly even finding an insurance that covers me at Avenue Vision. Awaiting on my eyeglasses to come in. I couldn't afford all the additions to the lenses, but I do hope they work and hopefully in the future I can get better lenses. If I find a way to afford another eye exam, I do hope it's with Avenue Vision.

  Everyone there was incredibly helpful, compassionate, and genuine. I felt heard, seen and taken care of like I haven't in years when visiting an eye care facility. I joked with my mother after getting my new glasses that it almost felt like a therapy session. I felt SO happy leaving the office with my brand new glasses. Not only was I given the right prescription (which other office has given me a wrong one), but was also given practical tips to take care of my eyes, and deal with some side effects that some meds I'm taking are doing to my vision. I was treated like a human being, and not a number, or another person in line. Thank you SO much!!!

  I am a patient of Avenue Vision. I can not say enough about the wonderful service I received there. Dr. Joe Borden was excellent he gave me a very thorough eye exam and explained what all they are checking for during my eye exam. His staff was very friendly and very helpful. If I have any questions they are always willing to answer them for me. I am very satisfied with the service I received from Dr. Joe Borden and his staff!! I would highly recommend them for the care of your vision!!

  Avenue vision was amazing!!! All of the staff were super helpful and not only provided great customer service but also provided great education as well.
  The exam itself was actually fun! My eyes were examined much more thoroughly than the target/Costco eye exams I was used to... Dr Borden spent the time to educate me on my eye health and listened to any questions/concerns I had.
  Great experience! Will definitely refer my friends and be back. So happy to have them in Golden close to home!

  My son was referred to Avenue Vision and Dr. Bordon last spring. He'd always been a very smart kid but was starting to struggle in school. All of his screening vision exams showed him to have 20/20 vision and he could hit a 60 mph fastball in 4th grade. I thought "why in the WORLD are we getting his eyes checked?" Lo, and behold, he was diagnosed with exotropia and convergence insufficiency. He now has glasses and spent the summer doing vision therapy (Inez Roseth is a GENIUS by the way...). My son, just this week, came home from school and said "mom, why did they decide to make 6th grade so EASY?" 5 stars aren't enough to convey just how grateful we are for Avenue Vision!!!
