Rock N Root has done a fantastic job on a service project for Oak Hill Youth Sports Association. John agreed to sponsor a significant portion of the cost as we are a non-profit. His crew did a fabulous job replacing an ancient retaining wall, putting in a lovely and useful one of native limestone in its place. Proper backfill and drainage ensures that our field won't erode, and they were extremely courteous in ensuring that the work didn't disrupt games or practices, finished in a reasonable time frame, and that the worksite held no hidden dangers from very curious 5 year olds. Kudos and much thanks.

I stopped by Rock-N-Root a couple weeks ago 1. because my Boss had recently told me about them and I had been wanting to check out their succulents 2. I happened to driving right past them and actually needed a succulent that did not warrant a drive out to Manor where we usually get our local wholesale plants.

I was already familiar with the property because it was formerly our plant wholesaler that moved to Manor. But now the new tenants are open to the public and give 25% discounts to wholesalers. ...
I highly recommend them and will be back soon for both personal and wholesale purchases! -

We used Austin Rock n Root for a major landscape installation that involved installing a dry laid flagstone path, addressing some tricky drainage issues, and installing (3) planting beds.
Original recommendation
1. John Fosano and his crew led by Rudy did the most impressive flagging job I personally have ever seen. First, John recommended larger stones with tighter joints that turned out to be the correct call. It looks impressive and has not shifted 14 months after installation.
2. the drainage issues on our property were tricky in that there wasn't a lot of natural slope to work with. John came up with a sensical plan to address them and did not break the bank in doing so. It was put to the test during this past summers 10+ inches of rain in an hour and a half.
3. The planting beds were well placed within the overall design and selections for the beds were good for the amount of sun and the look/type of plants.
I would fully recommend Austin Rock and Root as I think you will get a fair price and quality work with quality and respectful workers. They will make sure you get what you want.
