The seed for Austin Lawns & Flower Beds was sown in a little nursery called Bedrock Nursery in Lawton OK. That is where as a freshman in College, I was formally introduced to the Horticultural world. The seed, however, remained fairly dormant for about 10 years where after a 7-year stint at UT campus working with College kids, I decided to launch a lawn business which quickly also included Landscaping. Two years later, Austin Lawns & Flower Beds became Grow Green Certified by the City of Austin. Our newest endeavor is to open a new and much-needed garden center in South Austin. ACL completed a job for us on our back yard in May 2017 that included correcting a big erosion problem we had, some stonework, installing a flagstone patio, and some new plants to soften the appearance around the back of our house. Their bid was competitive with the other bids I received. We are very, very pleased with their work. Abey is a great communicator (rare for contractors). They did the job on time, with great care, and did some extra touches that we really appreciated. I will use them again and I highly recommend Abey and his crew at ACL!

We highly recommend Austin Creative Landscaping. Abey Bruce, the owner, was willing to come on to our rather large project that had been abandoned by another contractor. Abey and his team of very polite and hardworking guys proceeded to fix the poorly constructed deck and railing, clean out a lot of junk rock and cement that the other company left in our yard, construct beautiful stone retaining walls, construct a terraced, steel walkway, create a flat gravel area and flat lawn area with artificial turf, landscape the front, back and side including a gorgeous 10' steel trellis that Abey designed and suggested, and tear out and rework our driveway to be able to capture more pervious cover. ... My wife and I engaged Austin Creative Landscaping to enhance the landscaping around our house. They listened carefully and developed a plan we found very appealing. Their design reflected experience and expertise. They demonstrated great knowledge of local plants as well as plants that would thrive in the local environment. The implementation was very nicely done. The owner was personable and easy to deal with. The crew was pleasant and professional. I'd definitely use them again and recommend them.

Abey and his crew did a great job and cleaned up at the end of everyday. Abey created a great design for our yard based on some our ideas and it turned out great. He had a great vision and added little nuances that we would never thing of which is why he is the professional. The crew seemed hardworking and cleaned up at the end of every day. We can now look at our yard as something more desirable than weeds.

We had a wonderful experience with this company. We hired them to create and implement a residential landscaping plan for us. Marshall Odom came out and really listened to what we wanted, and then came back to us with a plan that included everything we said we wanted and also included ideas that we never thought were possible. The crew that did the work was great, and both Marshall and Abey Bruce were very responsive to all of our issues and concerns along the way. We are delighted with the results of their work, and we would highly recommend this company for any landscaping project.
