The name Anna Held was preserved from the original florist which stood in the same location during the 1930's. When Beth Tarrant Tenney started her business in 1985 she kept the name to create the cornerstone of this nostalgic location. By restoring the original marble counter and vintage floral cooler she revived the storefront back to its original charm. Combining modern design with quaint, vintage charm, Anna Held is a comfortable destination for imaginative flowers and irresistible gifts.

Beth helped my mother and me for my wedding day and she was amazing. I had been given multiple suggestions for florists from friends and felt frustrated when they wouldn't return calls or make me feel guilty and ashamed with our modest floral budget. During our initial appointment, she had ideas, but also really listened to what my mother and I had in mind and tailored her suggestions clearly based on my mother's interests. ... She met with us multiple times to work out exactly the look we were going for, had the flowers delivered to both the hotel and the venue for our convenience (on a Sunday--without a premium for Sunday delivery) and was just so kind, warm and loving. I will be telling everyone I know to use her!

I have to say that Beth from Anna Helds was incredible! My husband and I had our wedding reception at Calos near by and Beth did all our flower arrangements, bouquet and Boutonnière. When I met her in person to go over our "look" she got it right away and was able to make suggestions that would be cost effective and at the same time look exquisite. The flowers day of were so gorgeous I couldn't have been happier! Thank you for everything!

I was sending flowers from Southern California to a friend in Rogers Park. There was a mixup related to the holidays and AHFS website. But the customer service to make it right was outstanding. Beth really went above and beyond. Really lived up to their reputation for excellent service. I highly recommend. The arrangements were beautiful, too.
