I happened upon Andreas' while searching for a tailor who could replace a broken zipper on my weekender bag. This was the third shop I tried.

While he didn't have the equipment to work on such heavy leather, I experienced polite professional service, and was referred to a shop that was ultimately able to help me.
The next time I have an alteration need, I'll definitely check out Andreas'. -

Mr. Gorges is an outstanding tailor with a sharp professional eye for how clothes should fit your body. I've never tried him for made-to-measure, but every complex alteration he did for me turned out to be outstanding. Definitely on par with better NY tailors. At times, it takes a bit longer than promised but always worth the wait.

Expect a level of service from that of a bygone era. The craftsman ship and skill are superb. I have had several suits tailored by Andreas Gorges Tailoring. I've received thorough explanations of what needed to be done, and what shouldn't be done to my suits. The final product always fits perfectly, and they deliver when they say they will.
