I'm so glad I found Maria! She is a great seamstress and did an amazing job getting two of my vintage dresses to fit me just right. For one of them, she opened up the arm holes (which had been too small), and the other had to be taken in multiple places. Her prices are fair - I believe that the work she did on my dresses ranged from $25-35 per dress, and they each had to have 2 fittings to get them right. Every item you bring in is unique and will have different pricing. She priced the work up front for me based on what needed to be done. I'm very pleased and will be bringing her more in the future.

Maria is the best, period. I've brought numerous informal and formal items (both mine and my fiancés) to her and they are all treated with the utmost care. She is fastidious and has an excellent eye for improving the fit of clothing and working out small details to modernize or flatter my figure. I've brought lots of vintage treasures to her and plan to have work done to my wedding dress by her. She even helped me convert an old leather belt into a strap for a Kenneth Cole purse I found at a thrift store. If you have a vision for something, she has the power to match the vision and still find ways to improve upon it. Her prices are reasonable as is the turnaround time for items. Although I selfishly want to keep her business a secret, the rest of Austin needs to know about this wonderful lady and her magic touch.

Excellent work- very skilled seamstress! I took a suit jacket for resizing,
she tailored the sleeves, re-set shoulder and shorted the sleeves to 3/4 length. She knew exactly what was needed, and delivered a perfectly sized jacket. She is super easy to work with, and I am happy to refer her services! My definite go to for tailoring!

Maria is great and turned around a pair of pants I needed shortened in just a couple hours. Went out of her way to be at her shop within a half hour and then I came back a little later to pick them up. Super service and great work!
