If you need anything to do with hiking and camping, this is the place you have to go! This place has been around for decades and has some of the best hiking equipment you can find! If you're lucky enough you might even hit a really good sale and their one big camping "garage sale" they have around Memorial Day Weekend. The staff there is so helpful, Gary specifically, in helping you find exactly what you need! Great place!!

Didn't expected such a specialized shop with great range of everything for outdoors in San Diego. Wanted to buy a pair of hiking shoes and explained what I needed them for and that my feet are a bit special. The very friendly guy picked a pair of shoes and that was it! Perfect fit and exactly what I wanted! He even ordered a pair in a different size from their shop in LA to compare. Great service! A bit more expensive compared to ordering online, but the service is definitely worth it!

Located on the 2nd floor. There is street parking right in front or you can park in a small lot just right past the building. Great shop for all your outdoor/ hiking needs. They have clothing, shoes, bags, sleeping pads, camping gear... you name it. And to me, it looked liked everything was reasonably priced. The store was organized and clean. I'd definitely come back whenever I need outdoor gear.
