  I hope this is not too gushy, but I had a little boy 10 days ago in tears because he did not believe he could handle a part he just received in a community theater production. Honestly, I was not sure either. However, he wanted to try. That's where ActingUp came in... After a week of one-on-ones with Jennifer, today I had a little boy in my car once again with big crocodile tears in his eyes, but also a giant smile on his face who looked at me and said, "I can do this and you know what, it's gonna be fun." So, thank you Jennifer for helping him gain some confidence. You are making a difference.

  The Acting Up Studio is a welcoming and inspiring place for your children to express their creativity. We absolutely love the staff and feel like we are part of a family there. The owner, Jennifer Tankersly, is a hands on, upbeat and warm person who is truly invested in every student. Tom Moody is inspiring, supportive of every student and always entertaining to be around. He engages the kids in a unique and Robin Williams-esque way that makes the kids sorry to see the class end and eager for the next to begin. Very highly recommended.

  Unbelievable experience for our daughter for summer camps and after school sessions!! The owner has an impressive background in theatre and brings that enthusiasm and talent to the kids they teach.
