  Every single time I head to a Brighter Image, I'm glad I did. Evan, Dr. Goldberg and the staff go above and beyond to make the experience quick and easy, making every visit enjoyable. They also go out of their way for their customers; case in point, I recently had an issue with my insurance, which only surfaced after I had completed my exam. Rather than giving me a hassle, Evan worked with me and my insurance company to sort it out - making what could have been a really stressful experience easy. I can't recommend A Brighter Image highly enough.

  Best eye exam/glasses shop experience I have ever had courtesy to Dr. Bäer and Ramiro!
  
  Dr. Bäer took the time to talk with me and get my prescription perfect from the moment we met! We talked about his unique surname, golfing, seasonal allergies and even the history of the Civil War (we got there from my shared surname with Robert E. Lee). He is the kind of OD that takes the time to make you feel comfortable and get your prescription right, even if it makes him late for his next appointment. I have no doubt that I will come back to Dr. Bäer for my annual eye exams, even though I am not a D.C. local. Dr. Bäer suggested, and I agree, that glasses are the safest form of vision correction followed by contacts and then laser eye surgery :) …

  I had a great experience here - not only was my appointment fast, it was thorough. The lovely woman at the front desk was very helpful - I appreciated that she explained the way my insurance benefit up front, so I had time to consider my options during the exam. The doctor was efficient and also did a great job of explaining things. My year supply of contact lenses was on-hand, too - so in 45 minutes, I established as a new patient, had the exam, and walked out with everything I needed. I will definitely be back - I've had these exams for at least the last 25 years and this was among one of my best experiences.
