  • The entire staff at VVVC are incredibly caring, kind, and passionate about what they do! I have been using this clinic for over 10 years, for primarily cats and kittens, but also took my Border Collie, that I was so fortunate to have, even if it was only for 3 months. Dr. Barbara Lee, is the primary veterinarian, and the person I prefer to see the most. She is so knowledgeable, and I can tell she really loves and cares for animals AND their owners. She puts on a clinic, every winter, open to patients and non-patients alike. She gives cats and dogs their shots, at a steeply reduced price.

There are so many visits I could tell everyone about that stand out, but one in particular, stands out the most. The Border Collie that I took in, Brittany, was a 13 y/o, who had just lost her life-long person. She came to me, well-mannered and even knew many tricks. Myself and my kids grew to absolutely adore her, except for 1 quirk... her extreme separation anxiety. Whenever I'd leave the house, she'd destroy something! Nothing was safe from her! So, being disabled, I decided to make her my companion pet (she'd been a companion pet previously). Unfortunately, I couldn't always take her with me, because loud noises were making her increasingly uncomfortable. After trying everything we could think of, Brittany started hurting herself (licking and biting her paws and chewing her nails). After running some tests, Dr. Lee said, she was sufferring immensely from anxiety and it would only get worse, and if the meds weren't helping at the current dosage, she didn't have any more options. She also had severe arthritis, that her pain meds weren't relieving. Since she was elderly, and in so much physical and emotional duress that we couldn't relieve, it was time to put her down. I was devastated! Dr. Lee and the staff made this process and experience, as easy on both of us as possible. She told me to take a few days to say goodbye, and do nice and fun things with and for Brit-Brit. When it was time, she let me bring her in when I was ready (no appointment necessary), even though it's an extremely busy clinic, and she would put her down without me Having to wait. It was a very peaceful moment, and Dr. Lee was so kind and understanding! She hugged me as I sobbed uncontrollably for a few minutes, then carried my sweet baby away, so carefully, as though she was still here with us. About a week later, I received something in the mail, from the vet clinic, and I had no idea what it could've been... it was a sympathy card, signed by every member of the staff. I was so touched to receive it!! I was mourning and I really needed a pick-me-up. What a selfless thing to do for a client!! I will continue to use Dr. Barbara Lee and the VVVC, as long as I have pets! Read more

  • The entire staff are very friendly and helpful at this clinic. Dr. Cox and Dr. Humphrey take the time to explain all the options and even tho I owe a bill of approx. $1300, they have never turned me away or reminded me of my debt. I am 85 yrs old with approx 35/40 feral cats that moved onto my property over a year ago. Feeding them and caring for there needs has put me in debt and I do need help placing some that just need a little foster care. I have had 44 cats fixed since this all started. Read more
