Alongside our central sport, we also offer yoga and a variety of fitness workshops.
Currently, our facilities include full height bouldering walls, a top out boulder, endurance training boards and a host of training apparatus. As we continue to grow, we aim to develop into one of Europe's leading centres for training and development whilst retaining an open and inviting environment where newbies and oldies can climb side-by-side and have fun. A fantastic friendly atmosphere, supported by true climbing enthusiasts and route setters, always delivering a great set of routes with masses of variety, suitable for both beginners and for those looking for a much more technically challenging project. The lookout cafe upstairs compliments the gym very well, furnished with lounge chairs and sofa's, serving homemade food and refreshments, all very welcome after a hard sesh and providing very much a home from home feel.
All the staff are passionate, professional and approachable, making you feel less like a customer and more like part of the family. The facilities along with the climbing walls also include campus boards, a slackline, and a large area of floor space ideal for ideal for a pre climb warm up/ stretch.
All in all I consider The Project Climbing Centre a hidden gem that anyone with an adventurous character & a love for climbing would be chuffed to discover. -

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Regular resets (but not too regular, so you have time to finish that project) and they are passionate about setting the best routes for the range of abilities. They also have a conditioning area, a slackline, and plenty of beanbags for important rests.

They have amazingly friendly and helpful staff running an excellent centre that caters to all abilities. The centre hosts a range of activities and are very welcoming to all.

Best bouldering around. Chilled out and always expanding their walls. They have slacklines setup if you fancy a break and training areas to work on specific body or skill areas. The cafe sells great food that is well priced and it is in an ideal location.

A great atmosphere and great route setting. I was doing my CWA training and needed to shadow some sessions and they were so helpful and accommodating. The crowd is great - I would happily go alone and work on routes with others. The flash master competitions were always great events and I know a lot of work went in to them!

They have supported the local mountaineering club in a great way with free coaching classes for 2years running - the quality of the coaching has been excellent.
Staff are very friendly always chirpy and they have done an incredible job to offer a positive sport in what used to be a rather, uninspiring area.
Great walls, amazing routes and a passion for doing things to a very high level.

The project combines a fantastic atmosphere with an exciting and encouraging climbing experience. Whether a beginner or an experienced climber the staff have something to offer you - even if it's just a friendly smile and a chat.

Great set up, expanding in size and a neat cafe above with great cake. A little shop that he all the essentials and loads of dogs running around!

Good use of space in the gym itself and they don't grade everything so you don't get hung up on grades. they also have a well stocked little shop and a fantastic cafe upstairs. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Because I love climbing there. All the staff are really friendly. Even though it's becoming a really popular centre it still has a personal feel and is still run like a home grown business. I love it.

I have been using this centre since it opened three years ago and can't recommend them highly enough. There is a really nice community feel to the place and newcomers are always welcomed. They also provide an excellent service and it's one of the best (of many) climbing walls I have been to.

Friendly staff. Good routes reset regularly with a slide to get down. Slack line! Great cafe with famous brownies.
