They are great, the regularly provide community classes which are discounted to allow greater access to lower income residents. They also provide yoga and mindfulness training to kids while adults are engaged in Bikram Yoga or Hot Pilates. Also, they are a minority owned business and a safe space for people of color and multicultural community.

By far THE best yoga studios EVER! Such a great community of yogis and the staff is first rate!! Very knowledgeable about the benefits of Bikram Yoga. The state of the art facility is so clean, warm and welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend this studio!!

This is the best hot yoga studio I've ever been to. The instructors are amazingly on point with their instruction -- patient, articulate, intelligent, caring, positive vibes, inclusive -- I can go on and on. I especially love Ambiya but all of the instructors are gems! I drove from Woodbridge, VA to practice here for a month and the distance was a bit too much for me but otherwise I would practice here for life.

I've been to Riverland and Ivy City locations. Both are beautiful, serene, spotless and well-organized. The locker rooms are spacious with showers that are clean enough to pass even my germophobe snobbery. The instructors are all very good. You pick the one whose style and rhythm work well for you. Ive done hot yoga and hot barre and though I struggled as a newbie, I've loved it. Invest in yourself and this gem of a small business!!

Word to the wise: be punctual or get locked out!

When I bought my Groupon pass, I excitedly headed over to check the place out but arrived after class started. The instructor was teaching and could not come out, per their policy.

Initially irritated, I later took personal responsibility for being late. I assumed that there might be another staffer to let me in for a tour while class ensued. It would be helpful to post a sign explaining the policy or flagging it on the website. I do, however, understand they need to run a tight schedule and a have a small staff. That's a small price to pay for a first rate facility obviously curated and presented with love and a dedication to excellence.

I started attending with the $49/30 day unlimited promotion. It was my first time doing bikram and I loved it. Yes it is unbearably hot. Yes I often asked myself why I choose this kind of torture. Yes I thought about class ending as soon as it started. But still, a couple weeks removed and I miss it. All the instructors I got to take a class with were nice, even the hot Pilates instructor. Beware They offer more than Bikram Yoga. Check the schedule or you may show up for the wrong class like I did one evening. The locker room is pretty clean. There's an orientation class on Saturdays for beginners. And on Saturdays, there are fresh pineapple slices after class too! I love that it's Black owned and full of the least pretentious people. Love the diversity of skill level, body type, etc. in each class. :-)
