Larry Naylor/Perfect Wheels is a master wheel builder. Not to mention being super friendly, reasonably priced, quick (will true & dish wheels while you wait, no week long wait), great teacher (teach's wheel building classes) and will whip you up a nice cup of cappuccino to boot.
I was tired of my rear wheel breaking spokes and getting out of true from the daily insults of commuting to downtown. You can email him, check his website (as of 11/2013).
Small shop, Great wrench work, Great wheels.
I love my Erickson, and Larry is the only mechanic I trust with it. I have gone to him for many years. If you have read "Tales from the Bike Shop" by Maynard Hershon, you will know what I mean. There is something special about a one-man bike shop, and a mechanic who knows how to make things right.Original recommendation
