Zoe's Dog Training

Pet Services

Zoe’s Dog Training was established in 2015 and has quickly become known as one of San Diego’s best resources for new and seasoned dog owners.A core ZDT belief is that it takes a village to raise the “child”. Therefore, we not only encourage the involvement of the entire household but also work closely with Veterinarians, Petsitters, and Daycare Owners to make sure your training goals are supported on all sides.

Along those lines, we also feel it is important to consider more than just the surface level contributions to any issue. When assessing your pooch, our certified trainers take into account the canine's current medical state, medical history, past traumas (if any), daily schedule, home dynamic, breed specificities and energy level to provide the most well rounded plan for addressing your specific problem area. Zoe was referred to us by a friend that used her services and we couldn't have been happier. We had a puppy labradoodle with a LOT of energy and were in a bit over our head's when we brought him home. We worked closely with Zoe and Ashley who were incredibly patient and loving with our dog. In particular they really helped with a few specific issues we were having (biting and not doing well at restaurants). They were both always on-call and responded to text immediately, which was a nice added bonus. Anytime we had a random question, they were there. Can't recommend them enough!

I can't stress enough the difference Malory has made with our dog Shoopuff.
The night I enlisted the help of Zoe's Dog Training I was ripping out my hair, unable to deal with the umpteenth time an accident had happened on our bed. Training was made SO much harder by the fact she doesn't like food - even dinner is a struggle. Our previous group training sessions with other trainers had failed miserably, we had been told she might not be trainable. I loved the dog, but I didn't love her inability to listen. Malory met us within the week to begin work. ...

I recently did the 3 week training with my puppy. And Zoe did a fantastic job. My dog came back a totally different dog. He is so well behaved and even learned a few tricks! All my friends were impressed with how well behaved and how great he listened out and about. I couldn't have found a better trainer. If you have a puppy or dog and they need some obedience, call Zoe!!!!

Zoe helped me and my leash-reactive dog, Finley TREMENDOUSLY! He was barking and lunging at other dogs and wouldn't listen at all around distractions. Zoe met with us two times and came to my apartment so we could work with Finley in an area that is familiar to him and in just these two sessions, he has improved dramatically. She also helped me with leash-pulling and separation anxiety as well--both of which have completely stopped! Zoe's awesome. I already recommended her to a neighbor of mine who has a leash-reactive dog as well(: Thanks so much Zoe!
