This shop is inside an arcade building in Coolidge corner. Went there on a Saturday afternoon because the zipper of my pants got stuck and the slider got broken. The person assisted me immediately and assessed the pants. He said he could try replacing the slider alone and it would cost $15. He asked me to come back after 15 minutes. He did a good job of replacing the slider of the zipper. Service was fast!

One of the zippers on my favorite leather dress boots had gotten stuck. Been like this for a year. ...

I found the Zipper Hospital online, emailed, they asked to email some photos and I got a very quick reply stating that based on the photos it is likely they can fix it for $25.
And that is exactly what happened. I dropped off, took a walk and then picked them up within 45 minutes. Truly a great experience and that was well worth the 25 bucks to me. I love these boots. :)
They accept cash, check and paypal! -

The service here is fantastic! I had a zipper on a designer wallet fixed in less than 24 hours, and it was flawless. The owner is so patient and knowledgeable, and the pricing is extremely reasonable given the work that is being done. He is currently fixing a clasp on a very expensive bag of mine, and he has spent so much of his (free) time helping me determine a plan of action, find the right parts, etc. Extremely reliable, friendly service, and great prices - I'd recommend this place to anyone!

On the basis of the previous review I walked in at 11:35AM, showed her my broken zipper, and was promised a repaired coat, 20 minutes and $14 later. I ate at Panera across the street. She delivered what she promised. Very cordial and expert service. Save your money and let her save your coat!
