1) the scheduling, booked on Monday and they came out the next day
2) they wanted to make sure they got the right parts by verifying my VIN number
3) Charles arrived my house on time and called me to confirm and took great photos

They come to your house! Easy online booking and no waiting at a shop and pricing was lower than at a shop! The mechanic came with all the parts for my hour and an hour later my scheduled maintenance was all set.

Affordable - Tyler was awesome he took the time to explain with pictures exactly what he did to my car and answered all my questions. I had other concerns with my car and he took the time to not only tell me what he thought it was but showed me. I will use YourMechanic for all future car issues but I will only ask for Tyler as my mechanic! Excellent customer service and above all honest and knowledgeable mechanic!

Excellent choice for car repair - I just discovered YourMechanic.com. I decided to try its service. Theodore came a few minutes before the appointment. That does not happen with other services often! You get the 2- or 4-hour window, and serviceman shows usually up at the end of the window, or later. Theodore was better than perfect on this item. He started work immediately, and was done quickly. He explained to me the work done and his recommendations for the future. He showed me worn out parts, which was very appreciated. He asked me to test-drive the car. He noticed the worn wipers and he replaced them (I had a spare pair) for me and refused to charge me for that. He was very polite and patient. That was a great experience, and extremely convenient for me. And pricing was considerably lower than the dealer quote. The invoice came to a little less than original quote. So it is obvious that I will use this service, and Theodore's in particular, again, and encourage my family and friends to use it. Thank you, Theodore! The system behind the whole operation of YourMechanic.com is also impressive, from the first moment of investigating the site, to the invoice generation. It is very smooth, very modern, efficient, and thorough, with no confusion whatsoever. Quite unusual. It even notified me this morning when Theodore left for the appointment and allowed me to monitor his progress, so I was ready for him when he arrived.

Very friendly and very honest - I've been using YourMechanic for a few months now, and let me say it has been a godsend. I have a 2000 VW bug with over 200k miles, so you can believe how many times she breaks down *eyeroll*. YourMechanic has saved me any time I've had a car issue. They come to you, so you don't have to pay any towing fees to get to a garage, and their prices simply can't be beat. The first time I used YourMechanic was for my power steering pump - the guys at the shop quoted me somewhere around $400; with YourMechanic I think I paid a fourth of that. They even give you the option to buy your own parts, which saves you a little cash as well. I recommend this company to all of my friends, and I really hope they are able to spread throughout the US!

Chet was terrific, as always! - We have a 16 year old Subaru Baja that we use for trips to Baja, so it has to stay in good shape. We love YourMechanic and Chet in particular. He is personable, on time, very knowledgeable and does a terrific job taking care of us. He always lets us know if something is urgent or if it can wait. He doesn't try to upsell us but does make sure we know what we'll need going forward. I highly recommend both YourMechanic and using Chet as your preferred mechanic.

Nothing But Kudos - My mechanic, Chet, arrived at my house and immediately got to work. He diagnosed my problem within a half hour and was a pleasure to work with. He performed a vehicle inspection and we had a nice chat about vintage automobiles. I pick Chet because of his years of experience and the fact that his background was electrical. The amount quoted was what I was charged. My vehicle is a 1946 Willys CJ2A with 81,800 original miles. I appreciated his knowledge and advice.

First Time - Warren arrived on time - [even] a little early, Warren explained the process and we said ok to start the work. I had no problem with the website, the mechanic or the finished job in about an hour. Window worked well and with a one year warranty is more than fair and the price was fair as well. I printed out everything and filed with my maintenance records. This was my first time using this site and I will use it again. Thanks to all involved.

Robert Rocks! - Robert was punctual, professional, and extremely helpful. He quickly followed my historical description of the problem that had led to my car being stalled on the side of the road, quickly troubleshot the problem and got the car running so that I could drive it home. He gave me thorough instructions on how I can mitigate the problem in the short term and what actions to take to remedy the problem in the future. Very impressed!

Hernan was early (I was running a bit late), and he stayed and waited for me to arrive. I showed him where the car was, and he told me to head inside and keep warm while he made the repairs. He finished a little ahead of schedule, so my final bill was a little lower. He talked me through everything, and we discussed some other repairs needed - while adding his own thoughts on whether they were worth it (the car has 150K miles on it!). All in all, very easy, and I will look forward to using him again for my future needs. Thanks Hernan!

Arrived on time completed job in a timely and professional manor. Service is much better than most shops that I have found. Great customer experience and very affordable maintenance - I was skeptical about a traveling mobile repairman coming to my home, but for the type of work I had it seemed to be a rather easy decision. I had transmission fluid replaced and the rear differential fluid replaced. Total charge was about $100 less than a local name brand repair shop, and $150 less than the dealer. I will definitely use Cary Lewis for future repairs and maintenance.
