Yoga Tree's network of Bay Area studios are the best! Not only do they offer a wide variety of classes taught by well-vetted instructors, but they do a ton of really amazing workshops and teacher trainings through their studios. I took their 200-hour YTT last year and had a great experience, and continue to attend classes as a student.

I love that they've been in the Bay for a long time, and even though YogaWorks bought them a couple of years back, they've continued to feel like a business that reflects the values of its communities.

Finally, I can't emphasize enough that I feel they vet their teachers SO well. I've never attended a class where I thought the teacher was unqualified, or even just phoning it in. Teachers here (yes, even subs!) take their jobs seriously and do a fantastic job.

The variety of classes offered here is also great; it makes it so much easier to commit to a membership (which are super pricey at pretty much any studio in San Francisco!) knowing that I'll be able to find classes to suit my needs--from a super athletic vinyasa class to focusing on alignment, to finding a lower-speed class when I'm injured or just feeling low energy.

I love this network of studios, their teachers, and the community of students that they've cultivated in San Francisco and the Bay!

Beautiful studio to practice in with lots of space. I took Jason Bowman's class and loved it. Great pace to the flow and some light hearted humor, which is hard to pull off by the way. Checking in was seamless since I registered online.

This is the best place to practice in San Francisco! For beginners I would go to a 3pm weekday class, otherwise I would say the vast majority in class are advanced...favorite teachers are Julie, Danni, and Peter...

When I visit San Francisco for work, I typically stay in the Castro/Mission districts and love taking classes at this specific YT location. The studio is so gorgeous - the super high ceilings and giant Kali puja is so beautiful. The first time I came to this space I immediately felt at home...maybe it was Kali, maybe it was the practice. I teach alignment based yoga in Atlanta where I currently live, so I love taking the Hatha alignment classes on Wednesday nights with Max.
