Yoga Sakti

Yoga Teacher-Trainer

Established in 2009, Yoga Sakti was one of the first fitness centers on the North Shore to introduce TRX Suspension Training. Yoga Sakti was created with the idea of bringing some of the top yoga instructors to one location and adding strength training and a wellness center for a one-stop shop for yogis on the North Shore. In the fall of 2011, we added Spinning for those clients looking to add a cardio component to their total body workout.

Yoga Sakti is the largest boutique fitness center in Boston that has everything you need to achieve optimal health. We specialize in a variety of yoga styles, including all levels of hot power, vinyasa, and restorative yoga, as well as the only yoga wall on the North Shore. Our classes are open to all levels, and our instructors offer modified positions for beginners. In addition to Yoga, we also offer TRX, Pilates, barre, spinning, and conditioning classes, as well as combination classes. With over 75 classes per week taught by the top instructors in the area, you are sure to find a class that works for you! We also provide locker rooms with showers, lockers, and towels. We carry several unique lines of fitness wear to fit your style. Our attached Wellness Center includes nutrition counseling, acupuncture, hypnosis, and massage therapy. Yoga Sakti is a lifestyle center where you can customize your fitness and get a full body experience. Stop in today to see all that we have to offer. Read more

Many styles of yoga taught there. Some classes have special treats, like Rhonda’s essential oils. All instructors are well-trained, friendly and welcoming. It’s a great place to dive deeper into your practice or try it for the first. There are also many specialyoga workshops available

Yoga Satki is my favorite place to unwind. Classes run about $20/average but are long & very much worth it. I'm a kickboxing instructor and practicing yoga helps me avoid injury.

Yoga used to simply be a fun activity that over time became a passion of mine while attending Yoga Sakti. I was so impressed with the instructors and class offerings that I found myself attending at least one class a day (with many time slots throughout the day). The staff is welcoming to all levels of fitness, flexibility and strength to provide a practice that is unique for all individuals. I could not recommend this studio enough! 10/10.

Love being part of Yoga Sakti. I'm a shy, quiet person so going anywhere new is never comfortable. From day one, I felt welcomed from both staff and members, Kristin always go's above and beyond to accommodate every member. I love taking yoga and have learned so much from Marc, Jennifer, Erin, Annakathryn, Hilary and Kathleen. I look forward to the 5:30am Spin and muscle classes with Jenn, Tabitha and Maura. Not only have I gained muscle since starting with Yoga Sakti A year ago but I have also gained confidence and friendships!
