  I walked in here and the nurse asked me if I was a new patient. I was. She told me that people never left this practice, and boy was she right. I wouldn't leave! Dr. Sanders delivered my first child and Dr. Schaffel did the second. They are both great. They take all the time you need and answer all your questions...even the ones which are maybe just from anxiety. Definitely the best in DC.

  Dr. Schaffel is very thorough and personable. I recommend her highly to my friends looking for a gynecologist which says a lot. This is a very small practice where you feel very comfortable - I have also been to her partner, Dr. Sanders, when Dr. Schaffel was away, and also speak highly of her.

  I am so ridiculously thankful to both Dr. Schaffel and Dr. Sanders. I've been seeing them for 18 years and just had my 3rd baby under their care. They have seen me through many ups and downs and have never let me down. ... Had to set the record straight for this awesome dr duo. They're nothing short of 5 stars - I couldn't be more appreciative for having them in my life.

  I've been a patient for the last 9 years, had both my babies with Dr Sander and Dr Schaffel. This is truly such a wonderful practice - such caring doctors, great listeners, no judgement ever and the practice is so well run that you never spend more than 10 min in the waiting room. I only wish my pediatricians were this wonderful
