EVENT SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

Please review these Official Rules (the “Rules”) before entering The Event Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). The Sweepstakes begins on August 1, 2017 at 12:01 A.M. Pacific Standard Time and ends on August 31, 2017 at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Standard Time (the “Sweepstakes Period”). By entering the Sweepstakes, you are agreeing to be bound by the Rules. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE OR WIN. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. All winners must be 21 years of age or older. All winners must be legal residents of the United States. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. How to enter

There are multiple ways to enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period:

1. Enter a recommendation through one of the following webpages after logging in with or signing up for a https://www.getrecommended.com user account. Deleting or editing recommendation will not invalidate such entry:

3. Men's Grooming Day
2. Mail a letter with full name, email address, U.S. primary residential address, and phone number to Smith.ai, Inc., 425 Sherman Avenue, #200, Palo Alto, California, 94306. Write “Event Sweepstakes Entry” at the top of your letter.

Unlimited entries are permitted. Recommended’s employees, managers, and families of those employees and managers are prohibited from winning any prizes. Entrants violating any of these rules may be disqualified. Recommended is not responsible for and will not consider any incomplete or incorrect entries.

Recommended is not responsible for (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, postage-due, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or undeliverable entries, responses, or other correspondence; (ii) unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials; or (iii) phone, electrical, network, computer, hardware, software program or transmission malfunctions, failures or difficulties.

2. How we choose winners

At the end of the Sweepstakes Period, winner(s) will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries and the number of prizes available (see Section 3 below).

3. Prize(s)

One (1) $100 Amazon.com gift card, distributed to one (1) Winner. Total value for all prizes: $100.

4. How we contact winners

Recommended will send a winner notification email to the email addresses on file for the getrecommended.com account used, or the return address written, in the entry described in Section 1, and the person replying to such winner notification email or mail will be considered a “Winner”. A Winner cannot specify another person as a Winner on their behalf. Recommended will mail or electronically transfer the prize to the address or email address supplied by the Winner.

5. Winner obligations

Each Winner must supply Recommended with information sufficient to allow Recommended to verify the Winner and such Winner’s legal capability of receiving the prize. Such verification may include but is not limited to: an affidavit of eligibility and the Winner’s legal name, mailing address, birth date, direct telephone number, social security number, and completed IRS Form W-9.A. Winner may forfeit prize if verification is not received by Recommended within 5 days of notification of award and another Winner will be selected with the same deadlines. Recommended is not required to redistribute any prizes forfeited by the chosen winner(s). Winners may not request substitutions of prizes. Winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees, and all such additional costs that may be incurred.

6. General terms

By entering the Sweepstakes, you further agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold Recommended and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, sponsors and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, and assigns, and any other organizations related to the Sweepstakes, harmless, from any and all claims, injuries, damages, expenses or losses to person or property and/or liabilities of any nature that in any way arise from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of a prize or parts thereof, including, without limitation, (i) any condition caused by events beyond Recommended’s control that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (ii) any injuries, losses, or damages (compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; and (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Winners agree to be bound by these Rules, and Recommended’s decisions in all respects relative to the Sweepstakes are final.

IN NO EVENT WILL RECOMMENDED BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, DATA, BUSINESS OR PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, WHETHER SUCH LIABILITY ARISES FROM ANY CLAIM BASED UPON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, AND WHETHER OR NOT RECOMMENDED HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGE. If a prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Recommended may substitute a prize of like or greater value in its sole discretion.

7. Additional conditions

Recommended reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part, in the event of fraud, technical or other difficulties or if the integrity of the Sweepstakes is compromised, without liability to the entrant. Recommended reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or Winner, as determined by Recommended, in its sole discretion. The Sweepstakes is subject to these Rules and all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. As stated above, sweepstakes are void where prohibited or restricted by law. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you acknowledge that you have read these rules and agree to abide by them and by the decisions of Recommended, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes. These Rules are governed by the law of the State of California, excluding rules governing choice of laws.

Any action, suit or case arising out of, or in connection with, the Sweepstakes or these Rules must be brought in either the federal courts located in the Northern District of California or the state courts located in Santa Clara County, California

Recommended may collect personal data about entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy and as may be more specifically set forth in these Rules. Please review these Recommended’s privacy policy at https://www.getrecommended.com/help/privacy/. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants hereby agree to Recommended’s collection and use of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted these Rules and Recommended’s privacy policy.
