On August 8th, we celebrated our daughters wedding in an intimate affair in Charlestown RI. which was not our plan A because of the Covid situation. Originally we had planned for 125 people , but we were forced to reduce that number to 25 per order of the Rhode Island Governor.
We needed a caterer/ Private chef to help create as best a wedding experience as we could. Our Wedding Planner suggested William Ference for our backyard celebration. We booked his services in June and it was the best decision we could have made. The passed hors d’oeuvres were: A miniature lobster roll which was the best lobster roll I’ve ever eaten, blackened beef tenderloin on Crostini, fabulous!, mac & cheese bites ...who doesn’t love mac & cheese, right? As well as a cheese and berry board, served individually to each of us, consisting of crackers,olives,fresh figs,apricots, grapes and candied nuts. The servers were keeping everything safe by wearing masks and gloves when they served us.
Next we were seated and served either a Caesar salad or heirloom tomato and Burrata salad. The Burrata cheese was super creamy and delicious...one of the best I ever had.
Our entree choices were between a grilled filet mignon or a dill and shallot Atlantic salmon. I chose the filet. Well let me tell you that many of the guests,my husband and myself included, have eaten at some of the best steak restaurants in Boston and this filet was rated right up there with the best. I joked that when all my teeth fall out in my old age, I could eat this filet no problem. There were rave reviews about the salmon too.
All in all, The Plan B wedding was saved by the William Ference Catering Company. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this team.
I felt like we were dining at a 5 star restaurant but we were actually seated under a tent, in a backyard, at the beach.. Miracles can happen and William Ference made it so.Recommended for

Could not say enough good things about William and his team. They were professional, punctual, and really paid attention to detail, giving our low-key casual event the touch of elegance it needed. Not to mention, my guests could not stop raving about the food!! Very excited to now know who to call for my next event. William truly made our event the success that it was.

William and his team were exceptional from beginning to end. Our wedding was in June and people are still raving about the food! I am especially grateful to William for his positively endearing, cool as a cucumber attitude, and putting all my concerns at ease. Our 150 guests were well taken care of! William is the real deal, look no further, he's your man!

William catered my father in law's 60th birthday dinner and it was FABULOUS! He prepared dinner at my father in law's house, brought all the the dishes and stemware and left the kitchen as he found it. No clean up for us! My family are quite the foodies and the meal William prepared was AMAZING! William and his staff were friendly and engaging and even offered to be our photog for a few family shots. I would HIGHLY recommend William for your next party. You will not be disappointed!!!

I wish I could give so many more stars! William was the absolutely best part of our event - he allowed me to work through all the other details I needed to. He was helpful, kind, generous, and a DREAM to work with! THEN, the FOOD! It was divine! I was amazed at all he did for us! Even mid-day, when he realized an ingredient may not be something our group would be okay, he offered to do something different and it was soo sooo good!! I can't wait to have another event and have him cater it. I am going to think of events JUST to work with him again!

William and his staff catered my husbands 50th birthday party he did an AMAZING job! All our guest kept on raving about the food. He made the party a big success. We will definitely use him in the future and we highly recommend him. William and his staff were on time very professional and left my kitchen cleaner than they found it. His burger sliders were so delicious so was the tuna tartare. Thank You again William!!
