  The Classic Center (Athens, GA) has been fortunate enough to work with the Weekend Getaway Band for several of our events over the last few years. No matter what style of music we ask them to play, they always knock it out of the park. They have also accompanied high school students for the last two years at our annual Celebration of the Arts event, during which we award annual scholarships in the performing arts. Every single member of the band is kind and patient with our students, making each performer feel at home on stage. They are true professionals, incredible musicians, and truly wonderful people.

  This is the second 4th of July I have asked Weekend Getaway to perform at our annual celebration. The band is fantastic - great variety of music, amazing sound, fun vibe, and so easy and professional to work with. I work at a country club and our event for the 4th has a wide range of ages in attendance. However, the band appeals to absolutely everyone and I always get such positive feedback. I will definitely use the band again for future events! Highly recommend!

  The Weekend Getaway Band was absolutely phenomenal! We couldn't have asked for a better band for our wedding. We literally broke the dance floor, everyone was having such a great time! I would definitely recommend them for anyone who needs a band! You could not pick a better quality group. The horn section was fantastic, and they were so easy to work with and so flexible. We absolutely LOVED THEM!
