Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion of fine needles into the body at specific points which have been empirically proven effective in the treatment of specific disorders. Recently their location has been confirmed by electromagnetic research.

Dr. Raymond Chan is one of the most talented and healing acupuncturist I have ever met. It's almost as if it's magic... it's hard to explain. But I've see him for chronic neck and hand pain, hand pain from work, neck pain from arthritis, ever since I began to see Dr. Chan I have almost no pain. I am very active, without Dr. Chan I probably wouldn't be able to continue to do all the things I love, like gardening, climbing, drumming.. and so on. I've seen many acupuncturist, and no one comes close to the healing knowledge of Dr. Chan. If you have pain and imbalances in your life, which we all do, visit Dr. Chan and you'll be a believer in TCM and also on your way to becoming healthy. Thank you Dr. Chan!!!!!

Wow. Stanley Chan knows his stuff! Went here for sports medicine and accupuncture and received excellent treatment. I've never had such a thorough medical appointment with any one-to-one practitioner.

Stanley added cupping to my sports medicine protocol along with herbs that taste bitterly sweet, just like I like them!

Additionally, I've been going to their traditional Chinese acupressure massage therapist. This guy is a humble genius. He hits the acupressure point, and what seems like...intuition, releases the tension. Painful piriformis is no match for this guy!

I will continue to go to this little gem in Chinatown/ID.

TCM has been my primary medical care system since a TCM physician helped me overcome fibromyalgia. Whenever I'm in Seattle, Dr. Stanley is who I come to see for specific ailments or a tune-up! He's an excellent herbalist. (Acupressure works wonders for me but never acupuncture.)

I went to see Dr. Stanley Chan originally because not only did I have arthritis pain in my neck, but was post surgery on my right rotator cuff, and still had a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder. I found it almost impossible to function at times. Just putting on my shirts was torture. I was only able to afford 1 treatment per week so it took a few months to fix. Now I'm almost totally pain free and I'm able to lift weights 3 times per week without any problem. Stanley is extremely professional, and he explains everything he is doing and what to expect. He also gives you dietary recommendations. I also have a torn meniscus in my right knee and sometimes it acts up. He usually clears it up in only one treatment! I really don't know what I'd do without Dr. Stanley Chan! I cannot recommend him enough!
