  After cataract surgery I needed new glasses. I got my prescription from this office and it was perfect! I also purchased classes from the optical center at this office. TURIYA NEWSOME-JONES fitted me for glassess, helped with styles and had some wonderful suggestions for me. She was so patient, helpful and professional. She really did a top notch job and I don't plan to purchase glasses anywhere else. And I hope Turiya will be there. I trust her judgement- and she was right! I couldn't be happier and more pleased.

  Dr. Lamothe is an incredible eye doctor. He is patient, a good listener, and a joy to be around. His staff is kind, professional, and attentive. My husband and I both travel into the city just to see him! He will support you with your eye care needs and health.
  
  Dr. Lamothe also gives back to the community; hearing about the support he offers to families in need of eye care locally and abroad let me know what a generous spirit he has.
  
  Oh, did I mention that Dr. Lamothe is funny? He's got a great sense of humor.

  When I lived in Washington I had Dr Lamothe for a number of years and was always satisfied with both the front office staff as well as the doctor himself. Front office staff helped me save a little extra when I was transitioning employers and looked for good discounts. Dr Lamothe was always professional and speedy, but not rushed. He understands Washington's culture and people want to be in and out and get on with their day. I had contacts and need my annual green light for a re-order and he had me in and out easy peasy. I'm a fairly easy case but he was always kind and open to answering any questions I had about my eyes.

  ... The lobby is very clean and nice, the people at the front are kind and the doctor was very detailed and took great care to ensure I felt comfortable and had all my questions answered.
  One reason I didn't give this all 5 stars was that when I picked up my glasses they had a scratch on one lens. I was in a super rush and didn't notice until the next day, so I felt I couldn't make the case that I hadn't done it myself (even though they remained in their case until I opened them the following day). I still see that scratch every time I put them on so I felt I couldn't give a 100%...but I would still go back for the eye services, no question

  I have been a patient of Dr. Lamothe since 2012, and have recommended numerous friends and colleagues to his practice.
  
  I recently had LASIK at TLC Rockville with Dr. Holzman, recommended and supervised by Dr. Lamothe and I could not be happier. The staff at TLC made numerous comments about what a perfectionist Dr. Lamothe is and knew that I would have undergone every possible test and all paperwork would be totally in order for my procedure to be as seamless as possible. It has been just over a week and my vision is 20/20, and only expected to get better. Dr. Lamothe has been available pre and post surgery to answer any questions and continue to supervise my healing.
  
  Highly recommended.
