Warrior Bridge

Yoga Studio

Warrior Bridge was founded in 2014 after a chance meeting between Gary Snyder & Sean Langhaus.

Gary, a Seventh Degree Black Belt in Aikido with over thirty-five years of martial arts training, envisioned a new studio concept combining the Aikido practice with Tai Chi, Jiu Jitsu, Yoga and Meditation, bridging disciplines to allow men and women to be compassionate, strong, and wise “modern warriors”. Sean was a full time yoga teacher with a deep background in martial arts and fitness, who also envisioned a space where yoga, martial arts and acroyoga are practiced in tandem.

Together they would open the original Warrior Bridge at 275 Water Street in January 2015. In October 2016, Warrior Bridge will move around the corner to 250 Front Street, with a larger studio space and facilities which include a second smaller studio, spacious changing rooms and showers for men and women. They offer so many different classes for everyone's taste. Yoga (acro, restorative, power flow); flexibility; handstands; and martial arts.

yes yes yes yes yes. Awesome community - free open jam sessions. only critique is that I never experience a beginner acro class. The poses were often so aggressive that at the beginning many of us were lost on what to do or get any wins. But push through it. Great people and acro is the best!!

I love the karate and yoga classes. The teachers are great and even with the talky kids (not me) they are patient

Gary Snyder Sensei teaches inspiring aikido techniques and a community of kind, learning-motivated students makes classes an incredible experience. Whether you're a beginner, experienced visitor from out of town, or a lapsed practitioner... I would encourage you to go and try a class.

This is the place to train acro yoga for beginners and all levels. The community is welcoming and friendly. The space is gorgeous and located in a historic part of downtown Manhattan. Its really easy to get to. I come from Brooklyn and ride the train to Fulton Street. If you want to make fun supportive friends; this is the place to take classes and open jam sessions. Their prices are very affordable! $150/ month for unlimited classes!! Wow thats a great deal! My favorite thing is that the teachers there always challenge me to learn new movements!
