  Spent a month reading blogs before deciding on a bike. Wound up at Village Cycle as they had the best price, hands down.
  
  Price and selection is how I️ found them, but the service was stellar. Friendly, great attitudes, definitely a customer focused experience.

  This bike shop is simply amazing.
  
  Every time I go in, I am warmly greeted by one of many staff members and they quickly direct me where to go based on my inquiry. Even when they are busy (which is often, it is a good thing) they never make you feel rushed or pressured into a sale. I purchased my bike at the beginning of the summer from Village Cycle Center based on what I had read online, and the purchase of a bike comes with two free tune-ups. I just went yesterday for the first one, and I arrived about an hour and a half before closing. Even still, they finished my bike within 45 mins.... that is EXCELLENT service. Every staff member looked me in the eye, smiled, shook my hand, and they were all genuinely interested in assisting me. From my research, the prices are not jacked way up like I'm sure they could get away with. I have recommended Village Cycle Center to all of my friends and I will continue to remain a loyal customer for life.

  I'm new to the cycling scene, and was looking for a bike that would be fun and reliable for weekend riding and 'around town' errands. As soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me, and was incredibly helpful. As a novice, I wanted to learn about all of my options - Adam showed me three different models, and he really understood what I was looking for. I asked a ton of questions, and his guidance was extremely helpful. Ultimately decided on a Trek FX-1, and after just one week I'm thrilled with my purchase. Adam and I crossed paths (biking on the road) and he remembered my name and said hi - he's an awesome guy. I would highly recommend Village Cycle Center for anyone interested in cycling (and at any level). If my passion for cycling continues to grow, they will certainly earn more business from me.

  Excellent service! Everyone in the shop was very knowledgeable and passionate about cycling made it very easy to spend a bunch of money! We made the drive from peru il to do business here if that says anything......
