Upper Limits Maryland Heights

Climbing Gym

Our two massive arches and the amazing top-out boulder will challenge experienced climbers, while our introductory classes allow novices to learn the ropes. To experience the thrill of indoor rock climbing without taking a class, our 10 auto belays are the perfect option!

This is great option to learn the basics, have a great experience, and/or do a fun activity with your date! After taking this two-hour class, participants will gain the proper knowledge and technique to top rope climb indoors. Safety procedures, proper belay technique, knot tying, and equipment usage are some of the fundamental rock climbing topics. Class sizes are limited to ensure each participant receives the most from their instructor. Read more

Huge gym, great sport climbing area. Great boulder area with top-outs and a long cave area. Also has an after-hours training area available.

This place is perfect which is hard for me to say. I work with different places since I am a Quality Engineer in the Aerospace Industry I like to see people doing great jobs at what they do, you know give credit when credit is due. Anyways, my wife has rock climbed before and I have not and the welcome here attitude was always here. They treated us fantastic! ... The staff enjoys their job which shows and I don't know who the management is but they hired the right people for the job which makes any business successful. In the end this is the place if your looking for a fun and challenging environment with rock climbing.

Great place to be active and have fun. Learn how to climb with a rock 101 class. Staff are organized and helpful. $18 for a full day pass that allows you to autobelay climb or belay climb with a certified belay person and/or you can boulder, it's all included in that price. You have to rent, it's reasonable unless you have your own gear, bring it! Take the 101 class to learn how to belay, only takes 2 hr, great knowledge if you plan on coming back more than once. Many routes to climb. Not crowded even when it seems full. This place is way better than chesterfield if you want to us the belay or autobelay.

SOOO HAPPY! that i finally checked this gym out! It is suuuuuper close to where I live and therefore is SUUUUPER CONVENIENT!

... The top-out boulder in the back is insane. Fantastic & challenging routes to climb to the top are just what the doctor ordered.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place for anyone wanting to get vertical since there isn't a lot of outdoor climbing close to St. Louis.
