Travis Raab Guitar Lessons

Music Teacher

I’ve toured with Katharine McPhee & Andrew McMahon in The Wilderness. I was the guitarist in the house band of the CW show 'Oh Sit!' which had about a million viewers per episode and we performed with artists like Sean Kingston. My playing and songwriting have been featured on HBO, Food Network, A&E, and I've collaborated with artists like Roscoe Dash and Sammy Adams. I transcribed music for Cheech and Chong’s Almost Legal Book for Stoners, available at Barnes & Nobles. Oh and one time my old band jammed with Jay Leno on the Jay Leno Show. But we weren’t the musical guest, so does that even count? I don’t know. I’ve performed in Asia, Europe, Canada, Hawaii, and Mexico.

In a typical week, I do several recording sessions, lots of lessons, and a couple gigs either in LA or somewhere across the United States. I love making music for a living, and I hope to work with you. Read more

I have never playing an instrument before until I start taking classes with Travis, he is one of the most amazing musicians and teachers I ever known. The techniques he used combine with his music talent make of his class a very fun and productive experience. ... He is hard worker, very professional instructor and a very patient one too!!! I recommend his services a 200%. !!!

I started taking classes with Travis 3 months ago, I'd never played guitar before, and I still can't believe how well I'm doing. Travis has a knack of explaining music and the guitar like if they where easy matters. He's by far one of he beat teachers I've had.

If you are looking to learn to play the guitar he is the guy to go to!

Travis is exactly what I was looking for. A friendly, low pressure, great teacher who is showing me how to play songs on acoustic. I really enjoy my lessons. I think Travis is a great value and I highly encourage you to see him if you want to learn guitar.
