  My husband and I took the birthing series with third coast and it was perfect! ... Hospital, birth center, at home, natural, epidural, water birth; it was all treated as information and respected.
  I thought I knew a decent amount about child birth and infants but after this class, I feel very confident and not intimidated or scared to give birth and become a parent. . ... Hands down, this has been the best pregnancy decision we've made in 37 weeks next.

  I worked with Lauren, Mayra, and Shawna during the birth of my daughter. I felt in great hands with all three- Shawna had come personally recommended by a close friend, and Lauren was at the hospital with us. She was calm, warm, and encouraging. She was a huge part of why I was able to have a natural labor! I would definitely recommend Third Coast to any expectant parent.

  Took Shawna's six-week course and loved it. ... Six weeks later we're hardly experts, but we both feel confident, we know which questions to ask, and we know what we want to get out of the experience.

  I loved the discussion format of this class; class members were able to learn a lot from others' questions, but class never ever felt rushed, and we always made it through all the materials. The price of this class is comparable to other area classes and well worth the knowledge, insight, and peace of mind I gained.
  
  P.S. If you work downtown, it's easy to get to via the blue line (+ it's fun to enjoy dinner in Logan Square beforehand!).
