The Spotlight Band

Band

This really fun 6-piece band has been called "The Best Wedding Band Ever"! because we get everyone on the dance floor, with awesome vocals, keyboards and sax backed by an excellent rhythm section including drums, bass and guitar. We've played hundreds of weddings all over Colorado and in nearby states and we just love it!

With over 1400 songs, we are unique in our ability to play any type of music you want including classic rock, 80s, Motown, bluegrass, jam, pop, hip hop, salsa, jazz, oldies, swing and country. Given sufficient notice, we will play any and every request you have! We work closely with you to make sure you get to hear everything you want....we've taken requests for everything from the Grateful Dead to Bruno Mars to the Lumineers to Frank Sinatra to Metallica, and everything in between!

This band can provide a smaller ensemble to handle your ceremony with classical music and provide amplification for you, the officiant and other people who will speak; split into smaller groups that can play two places (say inside and out on a patio) for cocktails, play light background music during dinner; and act as Emcee for your event. We'll play CDs during breaks but make a point to keep breaks few and short. We are always in step with events as they unfold to make sure everything goes smoothly for your special day! Read more

If you want a Rudy-poo karaoke band to play a bunch of top-40 trash, then this is not the band for you. This isn't just any band, these mother fuckers can play ANYTHING. ... Sts9 is my favorite band, and I have very high standards for what the Dance and Wika were going to sound like.... Oh my sweet baby Jesus was I pleased. They opened that "Dance" up like a barn door in the summer time, and then proceeded to burn the barn down. The Wika Chikana was so funky that I'm pretty sure the whole band had to shower after it. And don't even get me started on their set list selection for the songs you don't request. ... Reggae you say? They will play the songs of Bob, and Jimmy so well, that you will start smelling Salt water and jerk chicken. Rock? Only if you want your face to melt all over your tux. ... Go waste your money on a band who is twice the price, with half the talent, and an 8th of the song selection. Or you can go with the absolute best wedding band in Denver. Hand down

This band was awesome! Our wedding was on 5/20/17 and the band was the most important thing for our wedding....we are both very into music (all kinds). I had a friend use them for her wedding and trusted her judgement so I booked them without knowing much about them. They have a huge song list and play pretty much everything. You can also request them to learn 5 songs not on the list for free but most everything is on the list. We added to the band and had 11 people total for our wedding band. We had them play everything from Lumineers to bluegrass to Texas country to mainstream pop and ended with Metallica. Every song they played sounded on point. We also had a friend join them to sing for a couple of songs that my father requested and they let the bridesmaids come up and sing for a song too. Another bonus is that they can provide ceremony music too so I didn't have to deal with another contact. I would highly recommend using the Spotlight Band !!

The Spotlight Band played our reception, and they rocked. Honestly our guests were raging like they were at a show. We gave them some liberties, let them stretch songs and jam, and they did not disappoint. Possibly the best money we spent on the entire reception. They did two encores!!! So much fun. And what great memories.
