The Gear Fix

Outdoor Gear Repair

We opened our doors on August 31st of 2006 as Repeat Performance Sports. We focused entirely on low-cost used outdoor gear & sporting goods. In October of 2008 Repeat Performance was purchased by one of the new employees of the shop, Josh.In February of 2014, we officially changed the name from Repeat Performance Sports to the Gear Fix in an effort to promote our service & repair work & to re-emphasize that we are your outdoor gear shop.We continue to resale the highest quality outdoor gear we can find on consignment, but we also have the capabilities to service & repair your gear as well. We are continually striving to improve what we do and we hope you’ll join us in our efforts to do so.We hope to start offering classes, clinics, and even more repair services to complement our outdoor gear shop in the coming months. This is my new favorite place to buy clothes! They have lots of high quality athletic wear in great condition at fair prices. I recently purchased a jacket and four pairs of pants by Kuhl and Athleta and paid a fraction of I would have if they were new. I can't wait until I'm in Bend again and can revisit Gear Fix!

They do great work for a great price. I've had them Resole several pairs of shoes for me and every time they come back almost like new. Their turnaround time is pretty quick as well. I'd recommend this company to anyone looking to get their climbing shoes resoled.

They do great work and our dedicated to getting more live out of our favorite goods, rather than diverting them to the waste stream.

We had a great experience at Gear Fix. We decide to get some bikes for casual use, like riding to the park. The staff was friendly and helped us choose some used bikes to get us back in the saddle. We got a pair of bikes for $500 and have rode them a couple times and they seem to work great for what we need. The bikes were several years old but in great condition and probably retail for about $5-600 each.

Great local business that is actively involved in lots of community events. They fix all your damaged outdoor gear from annoying zippers to melted sidewalls of tents and beyond. They also do great repairs on footwear and sell consignment outdoor gear of every nature -- kayaks, bikes, skis, boots, sunglasses and so on.
