The Gan was founded as a project of the Chabad Russian Center. Built to engage the young children of the Russian Jewish community, our goal is to create a warm Judaic environment that utilizes a combination of the Montessori and Reggio Emilia values of child-centered learning. Through art, music, and lessons the children are engaging in the vibrancy of Jewish culture alongside rigorous academic lessons, in a natural setting. We have worked to build a curriculum that gives the children the tools to understand the world around them and be mesmerized by the world’s natural wonders. With our gardening classes, dance, sports, and music we expose our children to activities that will give them the skill to flourish and grow. The Gan’s employees are all trained by Dr. Becky Bailey’s Conscious Discipline professionals. Using the core values of this methodology, the staff aims to be consciously aware of our disciplining tools, helping our students to develop healthy and strong social, emotional skills.

We offer monthly family programs, the goals of which are to create the bridge that will connect family and school. With our Shabbat circles, challah baking, and holiday crafts and activities, every week and season become a reason for celebration. Read more

    My daughter attended The Gan for preschool. She will be leaving prepared for kindergarten knowing how to read and write! More important, she developed into a strong confident little girl who loves to play and share with her peers, talk about her feelings and solve little girl problems! Thank you Mora Tanya for teaching and modeling to Samantha to always be kind and loving to her peers, thank you for all your patience! Thank you Ms. Marghury for always having a smile on your face. Thank you Chani for always listening to any concerns! Sad to go, however, thankful for all the love, skills and friendships Samantha aquired!!!

    The most loving and nurturing environment for pre schoolers ! The school's organic environment was a smooth and seem less transition from home to our first pre school . Such a positive and educational environment full of exploration and fun , my son doesn't want to leave to go home . The Gan is truly our second family !

    If there was six stars option, I would put six. The first teacher - is a memory for the whole life. Thanks G-d my child started in this school with such a nice people around. Warm memories. We are very grateful.
