I have always left here feeling confident, happy, & beautiful. Amazingly skilled stylists and a pleasant, clean atmosphere. I love coming here, & I love my hair when I leave. All the stylists are great, but I especially recommend Jennifer. She's the best!

Since I first posted my review in January 2016, I am more than pleased to say I've been a client ever since! It's now 19 months since I first visited the Colour Bar, and they've since expanded to Midtown. I followed Erin there because she is still amazing as ever and has become a joy to sit down for. Sometimes when businesses expand or move they just aren't the same as before, but this is so not the case here. If anything, it's an improvement from the other location. She changed my hair from Cruella de Vil to Ariel after suggesting I go for auburn hair and I am so in love with my hair now. I feel like it's more mature and I'm not even exaggerating when I say I get more compliments on my hair than I have ever did in my life. I will never go anywhere else. Thank goodness for Colour Bar!

Amazing prices for all over color. They listen to you on what you want. Amazing customer service. As soon as you walk in your welcomed with a smile. Offered drinks while you wait. They have tea, coffee, and water. Most friendly and professional staff. I always go to ludi. The stylist you book the appointment with becomes like your best friend. I would highly recommend this place. You can't beat the prices.

Glad to have found this place. Scheduled a color consultation and was very happy with the knowledge and honesty provided, which changed my plan for my hair color. I have had 3 appointments with Ludi since then and she is wonderful, my go-to stylist from now on. She helped create a plan that gave me a color I liked that was a realistic goal, without sacrificing the health of my hair, and within my budget. They are not "cheap" but their prices are reasonable for the level of service & experience that you get with them.

Most other salons I've been to have tried/promised a certain color within 1-2 appointments that they were not able to provide, and Ludi explained why that isn't possible with my very dark Asian hair, at least without completely frying it by trying to do the 3-6 needed lightening treatments in only 1-2 sessions. I really appreciated her honesty and her help in coming up with other ideas on how to get a fun color that I love, with a cute cut/style as well.
I definitely recommend The Colour Bar Salon in East Sacramento to anyone wanting quality hair color with wonderful stylists. :) -

Some of the best service I have ever received! The owner Lorena, and staff know their business. I came in with a very specific request, to have my white goatee died from a light blue to a dark blue. Not only did they accomplish this perfectly but they even put a light purple shampoo to my White hair which caused my hair to have a nice silvery fox like sheen. I live out of country, but when in Sacramento, I will make time to come here again. Thank you guys, you gave me a great experience.
